KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) -- Judge Paul Stutesman told jurors in the Calista Springer case Friday they will be moving from the Kalamazoo County Courthouse to Centerville next week.
Stutesman said he wasn't putting pressure on them to reach a verdict by Friday but Kalamazoo County can no longer accomodate them.
The case was moved from St. Joseph County - where the Springers lived - to Kalamazoo County for an impartial jury. Kalamazoo County set aside a court room for three weeks, and that time frame is up.
Marsha and Anthony Springer are charged with felony murder, child abuse and torture in the death of Calista, 16, in 2008. She suffocated during a house fire, chained to her bed.
Friday was the fourth day of jury deliberation.
24 Hour News 8 will continue to follow this case.
