BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) - Quick action by police has four men behind bars after they allegedly broke into a home in Battle Creek and killed a man, according to the Battle Creek Enquirer.
The four men are two brothers, a father and his son, according to the Enquirer. They allegedly broke into a home in the 200 block of Algonquin Street Friday night in Battle Creek.
Police told the Battle Creek Enquirer that they believe the men went inside to rob the victim and his son, and then shot the older victim at least once.
Officers arrived at the scene quickly, where they found the victim, his son and the suspects, according to the Battle Creek Enquirer.
The shooting victim was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
The four suspects were arrested on charges of armed robbery and felony murder.
