GALESBURG, Mich. (WOOD) - Fire officials continue to investigate an incident in which an RV was on fire behind a Kalamazoo County business.

A homeless man, known to sleep in a vehicle in the area, may be the owner of the RV.

Firefighters from several departments arrived early Wednesday morning to Mike's Tire & Auto Service, 119 W. Beckwith Dr. in Galesburg, and saw the vehicle. The flames were quickly extinguished and an investigation began.

The homeless man was not at the scene but authorities were able to track him down.

It is unknown how the fire started, or if the man started the fire and fled the scene, investigators told 24 Hour News 8.
