KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department believes it has found the people responsible for three robberies on and near Western Michigan University's campus.

Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas confirmed authorities think they have the "persons" who committed two robberies on Western Michigan University's campus as well as one at a nearby 7-Eleven.

Matyas said he doesn't know if arrests have been made.

He said while investigating a Monday night purse-snatching at Walmart, authorities developed suspects in Dec. 7 robberies at WMU and a West KL Avenue 7-Eleven.

Matyas said he does not know if all of the suspects arrested after the purse-snatching have been connected to the WMU and 7-Eleven robberies.

The undersheriff said more information will be available Thursday.
