KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - President Barack Obama will speak Monday night at Kalamazoo Central High School's commencement. The school won the inaugural Race to the Top High School Commencement Challenge earlier this year.
24 Hour News 8 will be tracking the President's visit every step of the way Monday. The entire coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. with a live stream at woodtv.com.
Air Force One is scheduled to land at 4:15 p.m. at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Cascade Township. 24 Hour News 8 will cover this portion of the event on WOTV.
President Obama will then take Marine One to Kalamazoo where White House officials confirm he will meet a handful of donors at a reception at the Radisson Plaza Hotel.
Matt Lauer of "The Today Show" is also in town to interview Mr. Obama about this event. And 24 Hour News 8 will talk to Lauer before he speaks to the President.

At 7 p.m., the Kalamazoo Central High School commencement begins at University Arena on the campus of Western Michigan University. You will be able to see that live on WOOD TV8, WOTV and woodtv.com.
President Obama will speak and we have heard he will shake the hand of each graduating student, though the White House will not officially confirm that.
Air Force One is scheduled to depart Ford Airport around 10 p.m.
