KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - A Comerica Bank branch in Kalamazoo was robbed Monday afternoon, and the suspect remains at large, according to police.
It was at around 1:20 p.m. when police say the suspect walked into the bank at 151 S. Rose St. and demanded money from a teller. He was given some cash and then fled the scene.
He is described as a white male, between the ages of 35-45, approximately 5'9'' tall, having a medium to heavy build, and wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with a red, short-sleeved shirt over it with the word WOW! in large, white letters on the back, a tan fisherman's hat, denim pants and dark-colored shoes, and carrying a black umbrella.
Detectives have learned that the suspect was in the area for several hours prior to the robbery and had gone in other downtown banks prior to the crime. While in the other banks the suspect had a button-down shirt over his other shirts.
