KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Public safety officers in Kalamazoo are looking for a man who fired six gunshots into the back of a home in Kalamazoo.
The man shot up the house around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of N. Rose Street, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
After the shots were fired, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
A Kalamazoo K-9 unit was called in to the track the suspect.
The track led to the driveway of a nearby residence and it is believed the suspect may have left the area in an unknown vehicle.
The intended victim of the assault was not injured.
Based on the initial investigation, the incident appears to be part of an ongoing domestic situation.
