LONDON (WOOD) - A Kalamazoo teen is in London for the 2012 Summer Games -- fulfilling her long-time wish.
Michelle Ferris's wish to go to the Olympics was granted after she overcame osteosarcoma -- a bone cancer -- in her left hip.
She told 24 Hour News 8 earlier this month that she couldn't wait to see the swimming competition.
Photos sent back to the states show Michelle and her family enjoying the best London has to offer, including Big Ben and the Olympic Stadium.
