SCHOOLCRAFT, Mich. (WOOD) - The People's Federal Savings Bank was robbed Saturday morning and several police departments are looking into the incident and similar robberies.
At around 10:30 a.m., a man demanded money, received an undisclosed amount and fled the bank, 500 N. Grand St., on foot, heading northbound on Grand. No one was injured and witnesses didn't report seeing a firearm.
The suspect is described as white, with a medium build and in his late 20s to early 30s with neatly trimmed facial hair, according to a news release. He reportedly was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored baseball cap, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
