CLIMAX, Mich. (WOOD) - A school bus full of football players was hit with BB pellets Thursday night.

It happened before 10 p.m. as the Colon Community Schools bus was on 42nd Avenue just north of the Kalamazoo-Branch county line, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department.

Colon Athletic Director Marty Klein told 24 Hour News 8 the bus was carrying junior high and junior varsity football teams, and returning from Climax-Scotts schools.

No one was hurt by the pellets shot from a BB gun, but there is a hole in one window that was shot.
