COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Nine people were transported to Bronson and Borgess medical centers after a two-car crash Saturday in Comstock Township.

The collision occurred at around 5:40 p.m., when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Michael Jeffrey Miller tried to make a left-hand turn and drifted into the path of another vehicle driven by 44-year-old Michael Thomas Mackey.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident, which was in the 8500 block of E. H. Avenue.

Neither speed nor alcohol factored into the crash, police said.

Both drivers, of Kalamazoo, along with their passengers, suffered minor and nonlife-threatening injuries.
