MARSHALL, Mich. (WOOD) - Six years have gone by and there is still no sign of a missing Marshall woman.
Mary Lands' family and friends keep her memory alive, even as the investigation into what happened to her continues.
Law enforcement officials and Lands' loved ones will meet at the Brooks Memorial Circle Fountain in at 11 a.m. Friday for a vigil. The public is welcome to attend.
Lands' fiancé, Cristopher Pratt, says she went for a walk late at night March 12, 2004, wearing only her medical scrubs and a favorite brown leather jacket.
And she never returned.
Pratt remains a suspect in Lands' disappearance. He is currently serving time behind bars for an assault on a more recent girlfriend. His earliest possible parole date is February 2012.
