BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) - Before leaving office, outgoing Calhoun County Prosecutor Susan Mladenoff cleared officers in three officer-involved shootings, two of which were from 2010.
Officers were cleared in:
Battle Creek Deputy Chief James Saylor told 24 Hour News 8 that in the 2010 cases, the officers have been back on the job for a while.
The police department conducted its own investigation along with Michigan State Police and determined the officers could resume their duties even though the Calhoun County Prosecutor's Office had not yet acted.
