2 men arraigned for 2010 K'zoo homicide

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) - Two Kalamazoo residents have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man two years ago.

Joseph Abdou Salib, 38, was killed the night of Oct. 3, 2010 in the front yard of his home in the 1500 block of Beacon Street in Kalamazoo, police said.

Now 45-year-old Randy Pookey Smith was arraigned on charges of homicide-felony murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. He was denied bond. Ricky Dixon, 51, was charged with perjury and a $5,000 bond was set.
