Kevin Taylor, 18, of Kalamazoo is wanted for the abuse of a 2-year-old boy.

Police say the toddler was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital Wednesday afternoon after being hit or kicked in the stomach. The boy had bruises on his body. He is reportedly in stable condition.

A warrant -- one count for first-degree felony child abuse and one count for domestic violence -- for Taylor has been issued. His last known address is in the 1100 block of Bridge Street.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety at 269.337.8994 or Silent Observer at 269.343.2100.
