BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) - Investigators are looking for the cause of a house fire in the 100 block of Caine St. in Battle Creek.
The fire sparked at around 10 p.m. Saturday night and 15 firefighters responded to put out the flames. They were there for about two hours.
There was moderate damage to the home, including fire, heat and smoke damage to a second floor bedroom. There was also some minimal water damage to the first floor.
Investigators estimate there was about $10,000 worth of damage to the house and belongings inside.
