GALESBURG, Mich. (WOOD) - Twelve vehicles were involved in two chain-reaction crashes that stalled traffic on I-94 in both directions for hours.
The crashes happened about 4:18 p.m. Friday between mile markers 80 and 85 on I-94 near Galesburg in Kalamazoo County.
Eight eastbound vehicles were involved in one of the wrecks. 4 westbound vehicles were involved in the other crash.
No one was killed and there were no life-threatening injuries, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department.
Both the eastbound and westbound lanes were closed, but were reopened around 6:30 p.m.
