IONIA, Mich. (WOOD) - Ionia County authorities arrested a man a month to the day after he allegedly robbed a business.

Police used forensic evidence at the scene to track down Trevor Rosales. He confessed to robbing Everybody's Market, 1039 W. Lincoln Ave. in Easton Township on Dec. 20, 2011.

He is at the Ionia County Jail on a $100,000 bond following his arraignment on Monday.

A search of Rosales' apartment in the 600 block of N. Johnson St. in Ionia revealed the shotgun he used during the crime, the clothes he wore, and the items taken from the store.

Rosales threatened the store clerk with the gun
before stealing some cash, several bottles of Crown Royal, and several small jars of LMFAO and White Widow incense/potpourri, which is often used by drug addicts as a synthetic marijuana

He told police those items were his intent and that the shotgun was loaded because he planned to shoot any police officers that tried to arrest him that night, or die in a firefight rather than go to prison, according to a news release.
