EASTON, Mich. (WOOD) - A 33-year-old woman from Greenville died when a vehicle driven by a teenager collided with her motorcycle Wednesday night, police said.
The names of those involved have not been released yet.
The woman was riding north on M-66 and the 19-year-old male was eastbound when he did not stop at the Dildine Road intersection north of Ionia, according to Michigan State Police. The collision occurred about 10 p.m.
Police at the scene told 24 Hour News 8 the male was turning north en route home, which is about a mile from the scene.
First responders performed CPR on the woman but she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A police officer took the male to a hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
At this time police do not believe alcohol is a factor in the crash.
Police said charges may filed in this case but it won't be known until the investigation is complete.
