BOSTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A driver led Ionia County Sheriff's deputies on a chase that crossed county lines just after midnight Sunday.

Around 12:20 a.m., deputies attempted to pull over a pickup truck for a traffic violation on West Portland Road near Nash Highway in Boston Township.

The driver of the pickup didn't stop and instead sped south, occasionally entering Barry County,

After returning to Ionia County, the truck finally stopped on Darby Road near Campbell Road in Campbell Township.

The driver, who was the only person in the truck, was arrested.

Ionia County authorities were assisted by Michigan State Police.
