RONALD TWONSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Jason Scott Schreiner, from Greenville, was killed after a Sunday morning crash in Ionia county.
It happened just before 9 a.m. on Van Vleck Road near Allen Road in Ronald Township.
A preliminary investigation shows the 35-year-old Schreiner was traveling west on Van Vleck Road and couldn't follow the road. When he drove off the road, he hit a tree and was killed, police said.
The Ionia County Sheriff's Department is still investigating the crash, but say heavy fog in the area may have been a factor.
