IONIA, Mich. (WOOD) - A traffic stop turned into a high-speed chase before the driver put his pickup truck into a ditch then ran away.
On Friday night, Ionia County deputies tried to stop the man's truck because he had improper plates, but the driver sped away, beginning a chase that topped 100 mph at times.
The man went into a ditch near Peck Lake and then ran from his truck.
Police dogs were brought in to search, but the man remains on the loose.
