BELDING, Mich. (WOOD) - A man dressed in 'military style digital camouflage" attire robbed an Ionia County business late Thursday night.

The suspect walked into the Belding C Store (Marathon gas station), 1002 S. Bridge St., brandished a pistol at the clerk and demanded money from the register, police said.

Officers from the Belding Police Department, sheriff's department and Michigan State Police arrived at the scene at 10:04 p.m. but the suspect had already fled with some cash.

Witnesses are asked to call police at 616.794.1900 to help solve this crime.
