COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOOD) - Two people were arrested in Kent County after allegedly breaking into three homes in Allegan County.
The Allegan County Sheriff's Department investigated two of the crimes and state police handled the third.
Neighbors at two of the scenes were able to provide police with good information about the suspects' vehicle.
After checking several possible locations for the suspects and vehicle, state police troopers found the suspects walking through a parking lot at York Creek Apartments in Comstock Park.
Troopers caught up with the suspects as they tried to drive away. Police saw a flat screen TV -- the same stolen in one of the burglaries -- in the suspects' vehicle.
Troopers stopped the suspects and interviewed them. The suspects confessed to all three home invasions and were arrested.
All of the stolen property was recovered, including a rifle.
