YANKEE SPRINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - A 26-year-old motorcyclist died Monday night in a crash with a pickup truck in Barry County, police said.
Jeremy Easterbrook was eastbound on M-37 and the truck driver was heading west near the border of Yankee Springs and Rutland Township. The pickup driver, Carlton Adams, 62, of Hastings, was making a left turn onto Peets Road when the collision occurred, state police said in a news release.
Easterbrook, of Hastings, was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene around 8:30 p.m.
Adams was uninjured.
M-37 was closed between Peets and McCann roads for several hours.
