CLYDE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - A motorcyclist died after hitting a vehicle head-on just before 3 a.m. in Allegan County.
John Meier, 48, from Pullman, was headed south on the northbound side of 56th Street near 113th Avenue, investigators said. The impact of the crash threw him from the cycle Though Meier was wearing a helmet, it was not rated for safety nor DOT approved.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains undetermined at this time.
