HASTINGS, Mich. (WOOD) - A former Hastings Public Schools bus driver charged with sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography entered a plea agreement in federal court.
As part of James Kohn's plea deal, the charge of possession of child pornography will be dropped if the deal is accepted by the court.
Kohn has already plead guilty to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under the age of 13 in Barry County Circuit Court.
In February, Kohn was sentenced to spend 18 to 50 years in state prison on those charges.
No sentence date has been set in the federal case, but his plea agreement states anytime Kohn is sentenced to serve in federal prison will run concurrently with his state prison sentence.
