PLAINWELL, Mich. (WOOD) - Plainwell Department of Public Safety officers are looking for a bank robber who had specific instructions for the bank teller.
Plainwell Public Safety tell 24 Hour News 8 that around 11AM Saturday, a man in his 30s walked into the 5/3rd bank on East Bridge St. When he approached the bank counter, he handed the teller a note.
The note had a list of bills in specific denominations and a specific number of bills. The teller began handing the robber the money. Plainwell Pubic Safety says the teller gave the robber other amounts that were not on the list, but the bank robber refused to take the amounts not on the list.
The bank robber did not put the money into a bag, but just walked out of the bank with the money in hand. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Plainwell Dept. of Public Safety at 269-685-9858.
