GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Rapids police said an alert armed robbery victim helped them take three suspects into custody.
The victim was robbed at gunpoint around 1:30 a.m. Monday while walking in the 500 block of Cherry Street SE, police said.
The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim called 911 and was able to give officers that vehicle's license plate number.
Police traced the car to its owner's home address in the 1000 block of Lilac Court. A standoff ensued forcing officers and a SWAT team to surround the house. The incident ended around 4:30 a.m.
