Missing GR man returned home, safe

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Rapids police said an 82-year-old man who disappeared Saturday night was found safe Sunday night.

Russell Mosley was last seen by a family member at 8 p.m. Saturday on Woodlawn Street SE.

Earlier in the afternoon he went to the community garden across from 1415 Lyon St. NE.

Police told 24 Hour News 8 that Mosley returned home on his own at 11 p.m. Sunday.

Police were concerned because of Mosley's age and the length of time he had been missing.

He was not believed to have been in any danger.
