1 shot in arm in SE Grand Rapids

GRPD: Victim cannot ID suspect

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A man was shot in an arm on Grand Rapids' southeast side Wednesday night.

It happened around 10:45 p.m. in the area of Temple Street and Marshall Avenue SE.

Police said the victim could not identify the shooter and was transported to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital for treatment.

One person is in custody in connection with the shooting. It's not yet clear if that person is the shooter.

This is the second shooting on the southeast side in two days. On Tuesday, 18-year-old Greg Woods Jr. was shot and killed after answering the door to his home.
