GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Investigators with the Grand Rapids Police Department continue to search for the suspect in a stabbing case.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. Wednesday in the 2100 block of Shangrai-La Drive SE.

Dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 the victim suffered three puncture wounds on the back, as well as a bite mark.

The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

Police found the knife and told 24 Hour News 8 they have identified the suspect.
