GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center is offering low-cost programs for families staying in West Michigan for Spring Break.

The center has extended their hours for Spring Break.

The cost is $5 per child, $7 for adults, or free for members.

They have basketball tournaments, a climbing wall and other kid-friendly activities.

Organizers said they planned the week for families to enjoy together and to give working parents options for their kids.

"This is one way that we can touch people and influence their lives by providing a safe place that's fun," Major Marc Johnson said.

Their day camp is open this week for children ages 5 to 12.
