GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Two men accused of sexually assaulting and robbing two women in September have entered pleas.
Lucas Such and Gregory Quinn were arraigned in late September on charges that they sexually assaulting two young women as they walked bear Plainfield Avenue and Grove Street NE on Sept. 14.
Such, 18, pleaded no contest to five counts -- three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of unarmed robbery -- in the Kent County Circuit Court.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 9.
Such's alleged accomplice, 22-year-old Quinn, turned down a plea bargain offer. He faces charges of charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct , unarmed robbery and habitual offender.
His case will go to trial, but no date has yet been set.
Both could face a sentence of life in prison.
The two men were arrested after police released a composite sketch of two suspects and received a number of tips through Silent Observer and the Creston Neighborhood Association. Police said these tips were instrumental in the identification and arrest of the two suspects.
