GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A semi-truck crashed on a Grand Rapids highway after the driver veered to miss hitting a deer in the road.

The incident happened early Monday morning in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 196 near Lake Michigan Drive. The driver was not injured.

It took several hours for crews to clear the scene.
