GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A man wearing a ski mask and holding a knife with a 12-inch blade stole the cash register from a gas station Thursday night, police told 24 Hour News 8.

Officers with the Grand Rapids Police Department were dispatched around 10 p.m. to the D&W store at 1810 Breton Road SE.

The man fled the store on foot and then apparently got into a getaway vehicle, as a police K-9 unit lost the suspect's track.

You are asked to call police at 616.456.3604 or Silent Observer at 616.774.2345 if you can help solve this case.
