GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The Grand Rapids Police Department is investigating the attempted robbery of a night-shift manager at a retirement facility.
Police told 24 Hour News 8 the Whispering Woods Retirement Village manager was checking the parking lot at 2:07 a.m. Monday as part of her duties.
She said three young males approached her and demanded money in the 3900 block of Whispering Way SE. One of the suspects had a handgun.
The suspects ran away before police arrived. Officers were unable to track them down.
