GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - One man was shot in the head, but was only grazed by the bullet, after two suspects tried to rob him and two friends, according to police.
The three victims were walking out of Tini Bikini's Bar & Grill, 76 S. Division Avenue in Grand Rapids, around 2 a.m. Wednesday when a black, four-door car pulled up and one of two suspects in the car got out.
During the ensuing attempted robbery scuffle, one of the robbers fired a gunshot, grazing the head of one of the victims. The man who was shot was conscious and talking at the scene. He was taken to a hospital.
The suspects then fled the area.
Police say they have vague descriptions of those responsible, with one of the suspects wearing a mask at the time.
