Man shot in back, witnesses unhelpful

A man is in a hospital after he was shot in the back.
Police say the shooting happened in the 1300 block of Prospect Avenue SE at about 12:15 a.m. Thursday.
It is unclear at this time what led to the shooting. Police say the man's injuries are not life-threatening.
A K-9 unit from Wyoming was on the scene to track the suspect of suspects. No one is in custody in connection at this time.
Grand Rapids police say witnesses to the shooting are not helping with the investigation.
