GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A plan to bring 26 loft apartments, offices, plus a new restaurant and bar into the heart of downtown Grand Rapids was unveiled Thursday morning.
The plan will refurbish the building at the corner of Ionia and Fulton, next to the Van Andel Arena. The $7.5 million development project from 616 Development is expected to be completed by this fall.
When completed, the building will have loft apartments on the upper floors. Offices will be on the second floor, while the first floor will be reserved for retail outlets, including the restaurant and bar.
