GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The cause of the fire that destroyed an auto salvage business in Grand Rapids last week will go down in the books as "undetermined."
The fire ripped through Lee Auto Exports on Sept. 12 and destroyed the building and several vehicles.
Fire investigators believe the fire started outside the building, which makes it very unlikely that sparks from operations inside the business -- like welders or grinder -- cause the blaze.
The co-owner of the business told 24 Hour News 8 at that time damage was at least $200,000.
