GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A young man is being sought by Grand Rapids police after allegedly assaulting a teenage girl at the corner of Leonard and Herrick NE on Sept. 17.
The 14-year-old was walking by herself around 11:40 p.m. that night when, police said, the suspect came out of some bushes, grabbed her and tried to drag her back toward the bushes.
But she was able to escape and the suspect fled.
Police released a composite sketch of the suspect on Sept. 20.
