GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - One person was shot in a southwest Grand Rapids neighborhood early Saturday evening, and police have one person in custody.
Residents in the area told 24 Hour News 8 police responded to the shooting in the area of Grandville Avenue and Naylor Street around 6:30 p.m.
A SWAT team also responded after it appeared the suspect entered a house. A suspect was later taken into custody and a search warrant for the house has been requested.
The victim's wounds are not life-threatening.
