Gilda's Club GR will keep its name
Some local clubs have changed to match parent co.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - The local chapter of Gilda's Club will retain its name.
Gilda's Club Worldwide merged and changed its name to Cancer Support Community in 2009, according to a local Gilda's Club Facebook post.
Local clubs were given the chance to keep the Gilda's Club name or change to match the nationwide program. Gilda's Club Grand Rapids chose not to change its name.
"Today we remain Gilda's Club Grand Rapids, here to support those on a cancer or grief journey," the Facebook post reads in part.
