GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Grand Rapids police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a gas station.
Officers were dispatched around 7 a.m. Thursday to the Marathon gas station at 2560 E. Beltline Ave. SE.
The clerk told police the suspect walked into the business, approached the counter, produced a knife and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect was given some cash and ran from the scene before officers arrived, police told 24 Hour News 8.
A police K-9 unit searched the scene.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot black male in his 30s, having a thin build and a thin mustache, and wearing a light blue, waist-length jacket, a red shirt and a dark hat.
No employees were hurt in the incident.
