GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A man arrested after a recent standoff has been officially charged.

Alonzo Montez Gamble was arraigned Monday on two counts of felonious assault, one count of resisting/assaulting/obstructing an officer, and one count of interfering with electronic communications.

Bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Gamble, 24, was arrested after a four-hour standoff in which he allegedly held his recently separated girlfriend against her will inside a Grand Rapids apartment during the morning of Nov. 23.

The woman was not hurt.

Court documents show Gamble's criminal history dates back to 2003 and includes charges of assault and battery, domestic violence, carrying a concealed weapon, use of marijuana, attempt delivery of a controlled substance, trespassing, illegal entry and failure to obey a lawful order of a police officer.

He is scheduled to be back in court on Dec. 3 for a preliminary exam.
