GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Sometimes it takes an outsider's eye to capture what's happening in an area. Photographer Andrew Moore did that with Detroit.
The internationally known photographer's Motor City pictures are part of a summer long exhibit at the Grand Rapids Art Museum called Cities in Transition.
Moore's exhibit, Detroit Disassembled , shows the stark reality that is Michigan's largest city. His photos of Abu Dhabi, Vietnam, Bosnia and Russia are among his other works on display in galleries around the world.
He'll give a lecture and sign some of his books at the GRAM at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The exhibit continues through August 26.
