GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A student aboard a city bus was injured after the vehicle collided with a car Friday morning.

The accident occurred at around 7 a.m. when, according to police, the driver of the car did not yield at Watson Street and Lane Avenue SW in Grand Rapids.

The Rapid bus was transporting numerous students to Union High School. One of those students suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Another bus arrived and took the students to school.
