Butcher knife used in GR hotel robbery

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Police in Grand Rapids are investigating a robbery at a hotel in which they say the suspect had a butcher knife.

Officers were dispatched about 4:45 a.m. Tuesday to Homewood Suites, 3920 Stahl Dr. SE

The suspect stole $200 from the front desk clerk and then ran from the scene.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police K-9 units are trying to track down the suspect whose description hasn't been released yet.
