GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Two Burger King employees were put in the business' cooler during an armed robbery early Monday morning.
It happened about 12:20 a.m. at the restaurant at 410 Pearl St. NW in Grand Rapids, near Grand Valley State University's downtown campus.
Grand Rapids police told 24 Hour News 8 at the scene that two masked, armed males came into the business and put the manager and another employee in the cooler before stealing some cash and fleeing the scene.
Police said the two employees waited until the suspects left and walked out of the cooler and called 911.
The employees were not hurt.
Police K-9 units could not track down the suspects whose descriptions have not been released.
